Hi , I wanted to know the mcc of painting and repairs in Housing.com application , as it comes under e commerce.


If there are any members who have done the transaction can you respond to this thread .

hi , today i have contacted the Customer care , they have said that it comes under housing improvements and the MCC code is 1750.

don't go with the merchant name , every merchant has different operations , this catagory falls under home improements

Wow, I think this mcc is not excluded by any card. People can use it to pay rent easily. Although charges are quite high 2%+.

Yeah, but it is just asking for account details and pan, so u can do anything in there.

Catagory wise mcc code comes. For example if ur rent payment merchant says locon solution even though his txn mcc was home improvements but ur mcc shall be rent and 1%+gst extra charge will be levied. Not all company does this though. Looks like housing does this
