Today I got my millennia cards first statement, i made a transaction on Flipkart but in the statement no reward points were reflecting. Talked to cc she said, no matter what your bill generation date is all the reward points will get credited on the 1st of every month. Is this true?

Better change your statement date near to 1st of every month. It wouldn't create confusion then.

Make it 5th of evey month, so that after Statement Generation, you can redeem the Points earned for last month Txns Instantly.

Arey bhai kya hutiyapa h hdfc ka. Call again till you reach right executive. I did that via call itself.

Usually we get a call back after Placing the Request over the call , to clarify we can change Billing date once in a life time and then he/she Approve the Request

I got a message saying we have received a request to change your bill generation date

Yeah it takes almost 1-2 weeks to change the date in records.

7 working days is what I'm promised. Let's see

Bill date change can be done by calling customer care. They will take request. Then you will get call where hdfc associate discuss with you if requested date is available for change or not. On same call your bill date will be finalized and in few days it will be updated. You can call them back after few days to know if change happened or not.

I received a call back for confirmation and the guy quoted me RBI Guidelines exact notification number and Paragraph number

Mne kha Sir Billing Date change karo na yeh sab btaane ki kya jarurat hai.

Different banks have different criteria, hdfc gives you once in a lifetime opportunity. Whereas icici gives every 6 months

HDFC is definitely the worst bank in terms of customer service nowadays. Even banks like RBL are providing better services than HDFC. Atleast they don't ask anyone to send docs to Chennai address.

Haven't seen any other bank giving only once in lifetime date change chance.
