MobiKwik cc bill payment refund process for failure transaction

We have seen many failures (1 in 100 probably) in credit card bill payment from MobiKwik. I have never faced issue with such failures and delayed refund with other players like Paytm or hdfc bill pay. Please answer the poll if MobiKwik transaction has failed and/or delayed your refund.

I think we have to look at the target bank as well. For example, hdfc and PayZapp has high failure for BOB cards. But they are fine for IDFC (very quick) and Axis (slow but no failure). Paytm is very good for BOB (instant payment via visa direct). So we must find the best option based on which bank card we pay.

Thanks. When everyone reports failure, if we report the target bank, we can analyze that aspect as well.

For example, imho we must avoid using PayZapp for BOB using debit card or UPI. The refund process is too slow. However PayZapp wallet to BOB might be ok.

SBI debit card can be used for credit card bill payment in Mobikwik and here we will get 1 reward point for 100 Rs spends. But value of 1 reward point is 0.25 paisa.

Normally I use HDFC millennia debit card but after maximum utilization I will use other debit cards.

As there is no significant value for Mobikwik super cash, after maximum utilization I would like to suggest to use other app for credit card bill payment.

More than 60000 Rs credit card bill payment got failed in December 2022 but refund got credited in April 2023 after several reminders and escalations. If automatic refund is not initiated in 2-3 working days then you need to raise complaint otherwise Mobikwik will never initiate refund manually.

Compensation is Rs 100 per day after T+5. So better to keep that in mind and keep the transaction value as low as possible. A better option is to use a system that does not fail often. A 1% fail rate is ok. But some systems have 10% failure rate.

Mobikwik denied refund.

I paid through mobi zip card, they only says the txn is failed at merchant end and they deny in giving refund.

I got my money back when rbi bo raised chargeback behalf of me.

Sometimes getting money from Mobikkwik and Paytm is now becoming a pain 🙁 i have faced similar issues with BOB and recently with AXIS
I have stopped using paytm for CC payments 🙁 even if the transaction failed it will take 10 days for reversal
