MoneyBack plus to Millenia Upgrade but with condition

Hi,
I contacted HDFC CC team to upgrade my MoneyBack card to Millenia. Today I received with the below email.
We take this opportunity to inform you that, the credit cards are offered, basis usage and payment pattern on the card account. We have reviewed your request and we wish to clarify that, As on date we were not in receipt of complete payment towards your card statement dues. In this regards, we request you to share the acceptance of 100% Autopayment facility from you HDFC bank current/ savings account debited your credit dues monthly basis. Post confirmation we can review your upgrade request subject to internal checks.



Having said above, Auto Debit is a facility by which you can provide standing instructions to pay Total amount due (TAD) of your outstanding bills every month from your HDFC Bank Savings Account/current account. TAD as opted by you would be credited to your card account on the payment due date and will be claimed from your nominated savings/current bank account.

Does this mean I have pay my total outstanding from my MoneyBack card to proceed the application?
 
They said they'll respond by 23rd
@Gaara What was the reply you got bro for this and did they give you a core card upgrade. I also mailed PNO for upgrade to a core card from ny IOCL card(which I got by upgrading from MB LTF card, I know it's a big mistake from my side). Waiting for their response.

Earlier customer care, greivance redressal rejected my requests by saying internal bank policy. RM wants investments for core cards even though I've a preferred savings account from them(and salary is also getting credit in it and my employer has tie-up with hdfc), I rejected him for any investments.

@Gaara Thank you for the reply. Did they reply on 23rd as they mentioned in the mail or they gave the response a bit early . If you don't mind and okay with it, can you give the below details .
A. Which card variant you had earlier and did u do heavy spends or not?
B. Whether they offered the rupay MB is LTF ? Did you take this rupay MB card that they gave ?
