More than 1 debit card from a savings bank account

Are banks allowing more than 1 debit card for a savings bank account..

I am asking this because I have an Indian Bank debit card (the card is still Allahabad Bank issued) and has few more years of expiry. I want to get a Rupay variant debit card from Indian Bank..

Ask the bank for a Rupay Variant DC, if more than 1 is not allowed then close the current DC.

sir does blocking the card work if i don't want to pay the annual fees and also don't want to permanently close the debit card?
at least in the case of canara bank and bank of baroda?

actually i opened BOB BRO account recently and people are saying bank is charging for the debit card even though the T&C says its free.
same with canara aspire it seems some people are getting different debit card which is not free 😭

Upgrade to Super Saving/Advantage, I got Canara Aspire correct DC without an issue.

i hope i get the correct DC, i literally only opened the account for the debit card benefits.

the rupay platinum debit card that BOB gives with the BRO isn't all that great anyways, imma probably just keep a virtual debit card if they are charging annual fees for the it. they got a nice suite of debit cards though, might take the another debit card only for rupay select
