Most awaited Axis Edge to Transfer Partners Timeline

RewardsAlert

TF Legend
Axis Bank Edge Reward Points to Transfer Partners Timeline:

Usually the Edge Reward Points/ Edge Miles have an official transfer period of up to 15 days but transfer to different partners varies with each one.

I have accumulated a list for these Tranfer timelines based on the experience of people in our community!

The lighting fast transfer award goes to:
(Note: there might be some exceptions in rare cases, but 99% is same for everyone)

Air Canada
Air France
Marriott Bonvoy
IHG
Etihad
United
Qantas
Spicejet
Wyndham

Transaction + 1-2 working Days

Accor
Qatar Air
Singapore Airlines
Turkish
Vistara

Transaction + 1-7 working days

ITC
There is a hidden fact about ITC, that they initiate Green points transfer manually, and Friday is the day when it happens every week.
So, even if you initiate a Transfer on Thursday, it might get reflected on Friday 😉

Not all partners are listed in this post, but new partners will keep on updating as people post their new experiences.
Do not forget to comment your opinions and experiences with any of these partners if any.

Happy Redemptions coming ahead!
🙌

A bit off topic - have you all been recieving the milestone benefits and the accelerated reward points correctly and regularly?
"Regularly" and "EdgeRewards" cannot be written in the same sentence. You've committed a capital sin.

I've received the points whenever that happens, no issues from my side. I've seen only cases of giving more points then getting them debited. Which is kind of relieving so I don't have to keep chasing Axis on it!

Not really bro. Have been transferring some points to different partners over the last month. What has been written in the original post is more or less true. There are many that are instant - within 2-3 mins like MB, IHG, United, Quatas, Wyndham etc. - have used it so can definitely confirm this.

Krisflyer took me 3/4 days (don't exactly remember) but if a weekend comes in between one should add 2 days to it.

Vistara took exactly 2 days during that fest - incidentally did on 29th March and it got credited on 31st.

Accor I incidentally did a first transfer of 300 points on Friday night. It has got credited today morning I think. I can see it in the account (weekend thing wasn't a factor at play here)

Turkish takes 4-5 days - my knowledge only from the first transfer I did. Maybe it varies.

No idea of ITC - they bungled up my membership big time last year - dont even have one.

So essentially different times for diff. partners. I think that immediate transfer for United and Qantas is very very useful as it helps finish a planned flight booking immediately without being anxious about it for 4-5 days till points get transferred as is the case with other partners.
Do airmiles have an expiry?

Which is best use of axis points for reward tickets in India? I see vistara but it doesn't go to where I usually travel? Any hidden airmiles provider i am not aware about?

You can use United and Aeroplan in the axis transfer list to redeem in Air India

Thanks. Aeroplan i can see no tickets available in aeroplan in India. I tried several options like blr-del, blr-mum, mum-adi etc also tried 1-2 months dates. Somehow i don't get any flights. Looks like either aeroplan is useless for within India travel or i am doing some mistake.

Someone mentioned in this forum that aeroplan temporarily stopped routes to India a few months back due to issues with fraud.

Aeroplan you can redeem by calling them over phone, same is with united too. I did my redemption by calling them.

Aeroplan is tricky. They dont directly show award routes on their site but show on award aggregators like point.me which is paid. Not sure what made them choose this strategy

Received the miles today in Krisflyer. Transferred on Thursday. But now, the miles requirement has gone from 20k to 37K. So, this has been a waste.
What actually happened can you explain? And where do you want to go?. I am also transferring around 2L points tomorrow so need to know the experience before hand. It will be appreciated if you could tell the details.
