Infinia My Infinia CC journey in January 2025

Hi friends,

I just wanted to post my Infinia CC journey here to help others on the same boat.

Little bit of my financial context first,
I have 3.5 lakhs of net (after tax deduction) monthly income being credit to my HDFC salary account.
I had Regalia Gold CC on which I had more than 9 lakhs spends in last 6 months and 12.3 lakhs credit limit.

I started my journey in January 2025 when got interested in Infinia CC and got to know about this incredible forum.
By going through the suggestions in the forum I tried first directly mailing the HDFC Grievance department where the case was closed after asking for salary details. Though I tried explaining about my spends.

Then I was suggested by my RM and a HDFC branch Credit Card person to fill the upgrade form and submit directly in branch from where it will go to Chennai office. I also got to know that few people in this forum got it this way as well. So I just followed the same and in 7 days my Infinia CC was approved and delivered.

now that you got infina , transfer you entire salary credit to HSBC you will get HSBC Premier Account & HSBC Premier CC, which gives 3% on govt spends too like gst tax payments etc. Once you have Infinia getting Salary in HDFC has zero benifit. Imperia banking per se is just namesake.

just do it trust me..! Literally zero benifit taking salary in HdFC , until unless ur aiming for Infinite banking with TRV of 5Cr, & aiming for infinia Debit card, if not then just take 3.5L in HSBC ull get premier account with global benifits plus Premier CC Free with one time joining fees but almost no exclusions flat 3% on everything including taxes etc.

I remember you once mentioning they were not giving you the credit card, how was that sorted eventually?

so they need an individual TRV of 40L or salary credit of 3L to process credit card, I haven't done either since dint need the CC coz I have Infinia & Axis Burgundy, which covers most of my expenses, however under family banking I get premier account with premier debit card with no min balance etc & the service on that front has been good always a prompt response to any work / query.

which game u playing to earn 3.5 per month that too net ?

btw hsbc only allows savings accounts by phone or branch. any reason for that ?

a family member is premier fulfilling those criteria.. for account debit card i dont need to fullfill anything but for credit cards i need to individually fulfill the criteria
