Need Advise on RBIO Complaint on HDFC

I have made a payment on SBI UNIPAY for Rs.1800 from HDFC DC to pay my credit card bill on 27th Jan this year. But the transaction didn't go through and failed. I took the payment failure error screenshots and dropped a mail to HDFC after waiting 5 Days for the reversal there was no sign of it happening. They have asked me proof for the claim which I have submitted. It has been a month since my initial reply. whenever I reach them for response they mention they'll revert by March 18th.

Can I escalate this complaint to RBIO for TAT compensation of Rs. 100/ day?
 
Of course! You can definitely file a complaint with RBIO, but since the amount is relatively small, I’d suggest letting HDFC take their time to resolve it. You’ll be eligible for ₹100/day compensation for however long they take. Just keep following up with them periodically, and once you get your refund, ask them for the compensation. If they refuse, then you can escalate it to RBIO.

Yes you can. MY ISSUE WAS WITH HDFC too. I did a transaction of Rs 350 on a merchant portal, amout debited but transaction failed. Waited for few days for reversal after that i completely forgot. After 1 months complained to hdfc with all proof, they took long time and after many emails, got the refund amount. But they didn't gave me compensation so filed complaint to RBIO, and got 5300 as compensation.

Thanks both, the same thing happened with me Previously also. But the amount was just Rs.200. So I ignored the RBIO complaint. If it is 100 each day then I will get 30K around

i had done a payment of an icici cc via amazon app

the amount got cut from my icici acc but didnt come to the icici credit card... it was only successful after multiple follow ups with icici after like 2~ months .. in this case it is eligible for the 100/day compensation?

amazon had sent it already to icici so it was pending and stuck by icici itself

They declined
I have sent them multiple email for the main reason for rejection they copy paste same email every time internel policy ala fala
I did not get any proper response from bank
Can I compliant to RBIO
Or should I wait for 30 days ??

Wait for 30 days before filing a complaint. If you complain earlier, it will be dismissed as premature and deemed not maintainable.

Also, if you haven't already, I suggest sending a final email to the PNO 48 hours before raising your grievance with the RBIO. The email should contain the following:

This will strengthen your case, as it highlights the exact sections the bank is not following.
