Need card suggestions for income tax payment

Hi all,

Please suggest me a good credit card for income tax payment of 4+ lakhs for my parents.

I have gone through a lot of posts in the forum but couldn't find latest information after IDFC wealth devaluation

Cards I considered so far
1. SC smart earn - 1K cap per month. Won't work for me.
2. SC ultimate: shitty reward redemption option
3. Amex platinum travel: Not sure if amex is supported in incometax portal and whether the spends will be counted towards milestone.


Current cards that I have may give me some rewards
1. ICICI Amazon pay
2. IDFC wealth

For me, I just walked in and asked for it. No FDs no nothing.

Did they call you for verification? What did they ask?

If u have 4 + lakh limit cc u can apply it as flotter card

so u create fd to get cc ? & whats flotter process ?

FD for secured card if you cant get unsecured. Floater is if you have existing card, you can get another one with shared limit. Apply via branch for floater.

Income tax payment through BoB ETERNA - the regular RPs are excluded. But, will it fetch the milestone RPs, say one does 5 lac tax payment?

Any benefits with (any) RuPay CC for tax payment through UPI? Update - Payment could not go through with Rupay CC using HDFC gateway.

Have already accounted Amex Platinum and IDFC wealth DC for tax payment.
