Need Help - HDFC swiggy card blocked before activation

I applied for the HDFC Swiggy card via the Swiggy app (LTF) a few days back and got the mail that it's approved (even in the Swiggy app it was showing approved).
Today I received the physical card but when I tried to activate it in HDFC cards it said that the card was blocked.
I tried to reach out to CC and they said that it is permanently blocked as they decided that they cannot issue the card after dispatching. I never heard that a bank would block the card after dispatching and how they come to the decision of non-issuing after dispatching the card.
Hence reaching out to the technofino community for suggestions. Did anyone ever face this issue? Is there anything that can be done here?

I have sent the following mail to this "priorityredressal.creditcards@hdfcbank.com".

A few days ago, I applied for a Swiggy credit card through the Swiggy app, which was advertised as Lifetime Free (LTF). My application was approved, and I subsequently received the card (ending with ****). However, upon attempting to activate it, I was informed that the card had been blocked.

Upon contacting customer service, I was told that after dispatching the card, it was discovered that my application did not meet internal policies, leading to the card's blockage. This situation is both perplexing and unacceptable. How...
Then I would suggest calling customer care and confirming why it is showing an error.
The error showed for 1 day I suppose it was just there servers. I also got my physical card today and nothing blocked as of now and transactions are also working fine. Hopefully mine doesn’t get blocked lol it’s my first unsecured one.

called customer service; cs agent said card was erroneously issued to me and thus blocked
Despite escalation to every stage, 32 emails, this stupid bank doesn't gove any reason for blocking my just-issued card (blocked even before it reachrd me).

Now, RBIO is dealing with the issue.

This raises serious concerns about the credibility and reliability of your process.

As a customer, I expect that once a product has been approved and dispatched, it should be honored. I request that you either unblock my existing card or issue a new card under the same LTF conditions. I will not accept the suggestion to reapply after six months, as the initial approval indicates that my application was valid and should have been honored without additional hurdles.

If you are unable to resolve this issue promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as a formal complaint.

I expect a swift and satisfactory resolution to this matter.
