I live in a state which is completely unserviceable by many banks such as au, amex, sc etc but i hold many cards from traditional banks such as hdfc, sbi, icici, axis etc. One of the card is paytm hdfc select (co-branded) credit card with limit of more than 7 lakhs. I am really interested in getting zenith as ltf. So, I request you answer some of my doubt/question to get the same.

Questions are i) As i mentioned earlier, My whole state is unserviceable by au bank rn but one of my friend live in Ludhiana, Punjab for study purpose which is eligible for au cards. So, can i apply for au card with his address?

ii) if the answer of my first question is yes, then which document should i submit in address proof? Also, can i enter my real office address means will the system allow me to enter unserviceable pincode?

iii) If they do home verification by any chance, is it mandatory for me to present there?

Thanks in advance

go for au swipe up program

This online Swipe Up site also verifies the address - serviceable area or not. It provides for adding a serviceable address.

How it is processed in the backend, or how it impacts the processing is not known.

I find it strange n illogical - about the address location - office or residence or permanent - if the Swipe Up idea is initially based on the concept of upgrading ANY existing Card - from other banks. SBI HAS over 25000 branches, ICICI has nearly 9000 branches... whereas AU has only 900+ branches. Incomparable in the reach.

Ideally even if your permanent address is not serviceble atleast you should be available at some current address which is serviceble then you can get the card.

Yes, if they do home verification you should be available for sure

My city (Chennai) has 3 branches but application process says pincode not supported. Can I open a bank account and then fund it with a large value and ask for AU LIT credit card?
I don't think so. Even I'm holding Saving account and they are saying that my pincode is not serviceable. Office address is serviceable but they are asking proof for office address. 😂😂

They do have bank branch in Vizag, but not sure whether is serviceable for credit cards.

AU Small Finance eyes Fincare SFB for acquisition, Deal could give AU Small Finance Bank inroads into MFI segment and South India market, while boosting its capital base.

Deal advantages

Sources in know say AU SFB has been exploring markets such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala for expansion. “Organic diversification may take a long time for the bank and acquiring a lender with dominance in these market makes sense,” said a highly placed source who didn’t want to be named.

i tried applying for an AU credit card, when it was time to enter my address, i had 2 options adhaar/some other option both of them had the same address, and both of them had this error - "above aadhaar address is not serviceable, please choose another address"

does this mean the bank doesnt give credit cards in my location?
do you guys know any good c2c cards that i could apply for?

This only means that the Pin Code you're trying to use is not serviceable by bank.
