Yes you need to apply seprate. New application
You can hold as many as 3 credit card in sbi
Sbi is i guess one of few bank in which u won't have merged limit
Shared is better term.

SBI CARD app is showing only option apply for add-on. Where can I apply for new card?

It should be visible on the home page, there is an option to apply for Rupay credit card. If not, you have to wait for a preapproved offer
Apply new application you are good to go
3 month is waiting time since previous application
Ideally u should wait 3-6. Month to apply for new card

Previous application 6 months ago. Will I get the option to select the variant visa,rupay?
You can apply particular varaint since the application start
Go to sbi card search card name and varaint u nedd then click on apply

Today I tried to apply SBI BPCL OCTANE through sprint. It asked to enter personal and profession details. After submitting the details. Final step it is showing to verify the kyc details. Got a window to choose current residential address or address changed option. Selected current residential address and summitted. It is showing error "unable to process and retry again". Tried again showing the same error. what should i do?
