No Amex Bill/Statement by Email or Post - Missed Payment - Query & Discussion

I was travelling for a long time and I didn't get any Amex bill by email or post.
When I returned to India I checked on the app and found I am 5 days late for Gold charge card bill payment (which was only the joining fee of 1180)
Because I had already prepaid the spends of 1000 x 6 = 6000 before the bill got generated and before leaving India.

I also raised a complaint that I have not received the bill by email or post so they said they will investigate
so how do I get the late payment fee and interest and penalty reversed or cancelled?
 
Oh boy, this is why I don't rely on the banks to send the statement either by email or SMS notification. As soon as a statement cycle is complete, I go to the app to cross match my spends and ensure they have been billed and the statement is generated.

happened to me as well. Just today. They told me it is not possible to not report the missed bill payment, but suggested me to contact them next month and they may wiave off the late payment charges.
