No more double dip on HDFC Credit Cards

double dip is getting instant discount on transaction and getting points on remaining spends done
its not an issue its just that bank is cutting its costs

Would this mean that one won't get base and bonus points for transactions done via Smartbuy portal as well ? For ex, Imagine has an offer of 5* rewards via smart buy and also offers 5k instant discount for payment with HDFC CC? O

Not sure because that comes under accelerated rewards and they haven't specified about that bur I don't think that will come under this

From January 23, I have gained almost 7000 points in Millennia (Most of them used for instant discounts)and redeemed that too.
If they reverse that point I will not be able to earn any cash points in next one year.
I hope they doesn't impose a cash penalty in my card.
Btw, Approx 1300 point is coming in November. Don't know what to do with that.
