Axis Atlas No more edge miles on rent?

Hello, I received edge miles for the transaction I did on 1 Oct. I payed via payzapp+redgirraffe But I did not recently (31 Oct) so I called Axis and they told me rent is excluded from miles. I told them to refer to my last month and also check your TnC pdf after which they told me rent is excluded from milestone as well as normal edge miles. I wrote an email to Nodal

Got 2 emails saying we are working on it and requesting more time to solve your query. Will wait till next weekend before escalating to PNO.

Generally they send such mails when they need to do some processing (credit points). If they had to deny it they would have replied with denial.

Axis issued a new notice valid from 10th December which says almost all cards will not get any points /rewards /cashback on rent, insurance, fuel, Government, education and utilities

Look like a devaluation is on the way and Axis tech team being Axis tech team they probably applied a staging fix in production.

Check Government, Education, Utility also if you are getting Miles.

Facing same issues with payzapp + red giraffe + Magnus. No edge rewards given and when I asked they said rent doesn’t receive points which is BS. When I asked to show proof they could not show any proofs or documents.

I emailed Nodal after the phone banking person was not able to solve it.

I had written to premium experience email first they asked me to wait 12 days. Now they said give us few more days as we are checking internally about the issue. This bank man. Hats off!

We would like to inform you that as per update received from our concern team the below mentioned transaction is not eligible for the Edge Reward Points. Hence, no points are reflecting for the same:

The Bank’s stand in the matter, as conveyed above, has been reviewed by the Bank's Internal Ombudsman and has his concurrence.

We would like to inform you that as per update received from our concern team the below mentioned transaction is not eligible for the Edge Reward Points. Hence, no points are reflecting for the same:

The Bank’s stand in the matter, as conveyed above, has been reviewed by the Bank's Internal Ombudsman and has his concurrence.

After this reply I have escalated to PNO today.

UPDATE: I spoke to Customer Care and surprise, surprise, they said my rental transaction is indeed eligible for Edge Miles. And then they also said that for this particular transaction I need to wait for exactly 12 days for the Edge Miles to be credited, even if I already have received the miles for transactions done post the rent one. Also, the rent transaction is filed under "Miscellaneous" in the statement.

Will wait until the 25th, and will escalate to PNO if I haven't received the Miles until that day evening.

Further, the same has been mentioned in the terms and conditions.

Note: Spends threshold for Milestone benefits will exclude rent and wallet transactions. The Merchant Category Code of Rent is 6513 and Wallet is 6540. The revision is effective from 5th March 2023."

I have replied back saying the mentioned TnC is applicable only for milestone benefits and not for 2 miles for other spends. Also, I attached these 2 pics.

Axis has the most confusing products. Several T&Cs, which they themselves don't understand.
