Or you can also get the Plat Travel card for the first year and then decide accordingly whether to hold or not for the second year, the points you get will make up more than the fees you pay for! 🙂

I think it makes sense as the card spends to get renewal waiver is just 1.5L a year. And you still get 4k MR points on paying 1000 ++ joining fees + 2k referral bonus. Which even at 0.33 value compensates for the fess.

Plus 4-5% returns on spends of > 72k a year.

for 1180 they give you 6000 points worth 2000 Amazon pay

You now get 10,000 additional MR points with the Travel card, so it's actually better.

People pay ₹6000 on renewal to get the same points while you can get them for just ₹3500 and the 2000 Bonus points so in total, you get 12,000 MR points on joining! 🙂
