No upgrades on HDFC credit card

[KFO iug]

I was offered HDFC business moneyback in 2022 which was my first credit card with a limit of 1L, this was my first credit card and ever since then I’ve gotten the Tata Neu Plus, Swiggy, and now Marriot Bonvoy.

HDFC hasn’t once given me an upgrade or a limit enhancement and has always rejected my requests for the same. I’ve always had some sort of EMI running on the card, mostly no cost EMIs, I’m wondering if that could be a reason. It is coming up to almost 3 years without any limit enhancement or upgrade offers.

What should I do?

I asked for eligibility. Got below reply.
"Dear Mr. Shah,

This is with reference to your e-mail dated February 26, 2025 regarding HDFC credit card upgrade.



Upon receipt of your email we wish to inform you that we cannot able to share the eligible criteria as per the internal policies, if you want to know about the product and eligibilty please do visit the nearest branch to know about the criteria."

This is an ongoing mail chain with escalation.cc@hdfcbank.com

Am I following up with the wrong people?

Requested for DCB metal and they are offering only FYF.. i have sent one more mail to reconsider by copying priority team...again same person from grievenace team replied that only FYF can be offered and not LTF.... damn....
