Non BBPS payments via 3rd party apps to be stopped by RBI forcing all banks to register as BBPS billers

RBI has directed all CC payments to be made using BBPS only.

3rd party apps to stop non bbps card payments from 1st July onwards.

Banks who are not registered as a BBPS biller have been given time till 30th June but 90 days extension has been sought from RBI.

Custom amount should be allowed as huge bills cannot be paid by all people in one shot.
Extra payment may not become possible.

I would suggest you guys to clear off any outstanding amounts on cards from Non-BBPS billers as much as possible before this month end (if there is room for cashback). Make hay before the sun set

Let me put it this way - Earning cashback by paying extra amount may not be possible

Not a Kotak holder.

Websites like SBI Unipay need to undergo many changes and this may result in the change of MCC - So this cashback on CC payment via DC thing is looking towards its end.

I did not get any cashback while paying on Jio Finance using IDFC DC.
Not sure any other DC provides cb for that MCC.
