Now Virtual Debit Card issued by SBI

New features added in YONO app. "My Debit Cards" TAB newly added in YONO where we can generate Virtual Debit card at free of cost (time between 8am to 8pm). Also initiated request for new physical debit card from there.

I did try at different time throughout the day. Seems like a account issue.

When applying via Yono App, I get "This facility not available this account".

Oh..then looks like the only option remains is to visit the branch if you want to get this resolved quickly. Otherwise contact customer care over a call or email can also help upto an extent.

It is mostly because you have 3 or more active/inactive/blocked card linked to your account. Get them removed either by branch or registering a complaints and it will be fixed.

SBI Customer Care, Nodal Officer and even the PNO is not aware of the new virtual debit card. They are confusing it with the older virtual card service.

Received the same response from level 1 to 3 that virtual card service is discontinued. Please visit branch etc.

I am also facing the exact issue... my old cards expired (2015-16 and 2021)

Yes, -- by blocking the existing card, and applying for a new card on another network after 15 days. There is also a limit on how many times this can be done in a year.

Folks, if I open a new bank account via video KYC on SBI yono, can I also apply for the virtual DC?

P.S I am talking about the insta plus savings account.
