Now Virtual Debit Card issued by SBI

New features added in YONO app. "My Debit Cards" TAB newly added in YONO where we can generate Virtual Debit card at free of cost (time between 8am to 8pm). Also initiated request for new physical debit card from there.

I've noticed that SBI has indeed added reward points to my Rewardz statement when I made a credit card payment using the newly generated SBI Global Virtual RuPay debit card on IDFC FIRST Bank's BillDesk portal.

So, it's confirmed—the SBI Virtual Debit Card does earn reward points!

Will we get 2X for CC bill payment as well?

Applied and received it today. First txn of 10k went successfully through paytm. But subsequent txn is failing. Tried on paytm and payzapp. Any known reason like limit in first 24 hours etc?

Folks, now the Virtual Debit Card can be applied or seen at SBI's netbanking as well. Go to e-Services > Debit Card Services > Virtual Debit Card.

In this case, you may not be able to apply online for the physical card as well. You should contact the sbi branch to update the CIF number.
