- Yes. OneCard is LTF. No conditions.
- If you have a pre-approved offer (check banner in onescore app, if any) then no enquiry is made.
- Don't go with secured card (based on fd) with them. You will not get un-secured card ever.
- Some people faces issues with physical KYC. Beware.
- Rare chances of limit enhancement.
- This co-branded card (if your get card powered by Federal Bank) cannot be used for Federal Bank offers anymore. No idea about others.
- Recently, they introduced charges for rent payments and wallet reloads. Also, fuel surcharge now has a capping. Beware.
- Very low reward rate.
- I use this card only for bill payments in CRED. They run offers at CRED regularly.
I disagree.
I love my OneCard, the best Ui/Ux I've ever come across...
As for the secured card, that's how I got one. I didn't have any credit history so wanted to start with it since I'm self employed, so no salary slips. Most other card companies declined.
However, after about 6 months of using my OneCard, I have a 762 Credit Score (CIBIL) and 845 (Experian).
Last week I applied for SBI card (SimplyClick) and my application was approved. So I believe it did help. Since I had tried SBI card before OneCard, also tried and got declined for RBL Zomato, IDFC and IndusInd (All declined before OneCard). Now will apply again for those 6 months later.
So I would be careful with statements like "You will not get un-secured card ever." - Although I don't know if you mean that getting the secured card means that you won't get unsecured OneCard ever, or whether you won't get other bank's unsecured cards.
Anyways, as my 1st card, OneCard has been amazing!
The app is great, very user friendly and clean.
The Chat support is decent
The Physical card is classy
The Reward points are nice in my opinion (5X points on top 3 spend categories) - Although I don't care much about reward points as most other cards only allow reward points use for buying stuff at their stores (which usually have useless/unnecessary items) whereas OneCard reward points can be used directly to pay off parts of your bills/purchases/transactions
