one card - Questions to help a friend

A friend with a limited (bad) Cibil score has been offered a One card (unsecured) and has sought some guidance

- is the card actually LTF or spend based
- He's not a fan of CC's and would like to initiate the journey with a lower limit etc
- Does OneCard make a hard query on Cibil and impacthis score further

Any other guidance is appreciated

I think people who got one card from BOB got limit enhancements but not the one who got from Federal Bank.

Yes. My brother-in-law has BOB powered OneCard and he got the enhancement. He only did one card securing transaction on CRED and only one rent payment (Rs.2500) in 4 months. Thats it. Nothing else.

In CRED app, OneCard runs offers regularly. Like 5% off or 10% off upto Rs.50 or Rs.100 for utility bills. I do paytm fastag recharge using OneCard (<1999) and get these discount benefits during offers. Also, I have 2 addon cards. So, 3 times discount effectively. Sometimes, OneCard runs rent payment offer. Like, one has to pay rent of 20,000 (Rs.20,000+350 convenience fee) and get 5000 coins (Rs.500 valueback, redeemable against bill). 10% or 5% instant discount or cashback offers on Amazon and Flipkart. Offers in Swiggy etc. List goes on.
