TF Buzz
Today, I got a notification saying some new features are available for my OneCard.
But get those features, I have to change the banking partner from IDFC to BOB Financial.

Here are the new features:

1. My Family: Share your credit limit with loved ones and give them their OneCard within minutes.
2. Auto Pay: Setup Auto Pay and enjoy timely bill payment for your OneCard
3. Subscription Hub: Manage and track all your OneCard subscriptions in one place

and after the change, I will get a new metal card and 5000 reward points after activation of the new card. Sweet.

I too migrated my OneCard, instead of FEDERAL, they migrated to BOB.. I had applied for BOB LTF card during the same period. My Video KYC wasn't completed yet as it was bank holiday for 2-4 days in a row.

Without my kyc completed I received and email from BOB that they can not issue card for internal reasons.

Not sure about the reason being onecard (BOB) Or video kyc not completed in time.

Limit for one card increased from 5L to 7L.
5k coins as bonus.
My friend received 10k bonus coins for upgrade.
It's strange that after I posted this message even though I received a mail that my application is rejected (05/04/22). I received a video kyc link.

I have just completed my video kyc for BOB.
Lets see if this goes through.

Correct. Because it's using BoB balance sheet and 1Card is for marketing purposes only. The regulatory liability is with BoB hence it will report as BoB card in Cibil
Yes.... But banks are not accepting... One card for c2c... Only idfc is taking it for c2c

Even thought its bob or idfc or federal or sbm bank

What is a double dip?
Double dip here simply meant, OneCard users with Banking Partner as Federal Bank were able to avail offers by both : OneCard and Federal Bank.

In normal scenarios, it cannot be done. For example, my OneCard is issued by IDFC First Bank, and I cannot avail offers for IDFC First Bank using my OneCard issued by IDFC First Bank as they have separate Bin Numbers.

Those are the luckiest one's. Though I don't think that offer will sustain.
Indeed.... may be some bug or people didn't thought through.

But what I wanted to share was that so far OneCard (issued by X Bank) worked when e-Com site ran offers with X Bank (Federal, BOB etc)

In future, it is going to be decided by bin series.. Private Banks will do it faster

How to find this out? I applied for OneCard yesterday and I am being issued by Federal bank. Hopefully I am one of those lucky ones
