You can also pay in Advance for future installments and lock the price. However you can purchase gold only after completion of 11 months.
Why do you think it's not going to be good/jewellery MCC ?

Hi brother, any additional charges levied when paying through AMEX ? Also which plan to select in Malabar gold monthly scheme. Is the first instalment of the monthly scheme to be paid at the branch where we open the scheme or it can be paid online ?

The first instalment can only be paid in the the branch.
Golden Glow Plan (Gold worth the instalment amount accumulated every month).

Are you sure they pay the last month installment ? I didnt find this in Malabar scheme.
You can use Amex card to make first payment in the showroom. No charges and you will get base MR rewards and milestone benefits.
Essentially they have 2 schemes of 11 months duration. Go for the "Weight" based scheme - Golden Glow Purchase Plan.
Future installments can be paid online via Malabar App using Amazon Pay vouchers bought using AMEX or any other CC.

Yes. You can pay directly using AMEX CC but you will only get the base rewards/ MS benefits and not accelerated rewards using Rewards Multiplier
