The Toyota dealership agreed for credit card payment of 200000 at zero extra charges.

Made this payment with HDFC Infinia.

Please share your experiences if the dealership agreed for credit card payment at zero extra charge.

Congrats! You did manage to pull the impossible.

Rarely any dealers accept such offers, probably the margins on the car you finalized are good enough.

Try pushing for the remaining payment using the card as well and get those sweet sweet points at the lowest damage possible! 🙂

Rather rarely the dealers are less greedy enough, existing margins are enough to allow mdr but dealers' greed is LTF & has no limit

Well, you can complain about it or be smart like OP and try to pull in as much payment as you can with the credit card.
Humans are greedy in nature and these are business owners so can't fight the world.
not complaining but its just the beggar & scamming mentality culture instead of honesty, integrity & national identity as Indian that was already widespread in govt insitutions which has now spread everywhere pan india whereby cab drivers ask app ko cancel kardo aaur cash dedo, builders ask flat ka payment black kardo, landlords ask upi/cash karrdo PAN nahin for HRA, cylinder guy asks tip dedo.

everyone wants to scam the system

last but not the least these automobile giants dealerships are not expected to join the kunts mentioned above when enough margins are accounted for mdr & provided by manufacturers ; but no....... these dealers want to squeeze some more & exploit even the mdr % for themselves as people are also willing to bend over and plainly everyone is busy.

but awareness is spreading & i have no less than 2 people on here who bought cars by cc with 0 fee.

so 100% agree with being conscious about it.

It purely depends on demand and supply, when there is so much demand and waiting period for cars are at over few months why does the dealer bother to budge, now that the inventory is so much and manufacturers are pushing the dealerships to clear the inventory, so I wont be surprised if they accept full amount on card without or with minimal charges in the coming months

i thought there is the LARGEST unsold inventory of cars with dealers in india ATM and this is the best time to haggle for most discount and freebies 😵 (just saying what i read on news and tweets not a car geek here)
