Paid on due late still Icici charged late payment fee

My icici amazon card bill was due on 23rd May. I made payment on 23rd May itself but they processed it on 27th May and charged me late fee. Now the are not reversing even though I initiated payment on due date.

Payment method - HDFC Billpay

1. Anyway to get it reversed?

2. Anyway to stop reporting to cibil?

Write to customer services explaining your situation and request them to reverse it. May not work but worth trying. It's strange though because whenever I paid my bill the credit date is always the transaction date regardless of how many days later they process it. How did you make the payment?

This is entirely your fault for making payment on due date via hdfc even though you know they don't settle instantly like icici.
Ask hdfc when they settled the payment to icici.
As banks will consider settlement as actual payment date.
If your payment settlement date is in the 3 days period past due date you can ask for reversal and compensation as per rbi guidelines.
Next time don't be such lazy bum.
Pay the charges and ask icici for NOT reporting to cibil as an one time gesture (which is futile)
