PayZapp discontinues usage of other bank credit cards for Rental Payments.

Hi TFCians,

Since rent payment days were approaching, I tried to settle my rent yesterday using my SBI Vistara Prime Credit card. I was surprised to see that PayZapp has discontinued using other bank credit cards for paying rent via Redgirraffe via PayZapp. Now you can only use HDFC Credit cards or load PayZapp wallet by paying convenience fees using other bank credit cards and then use the services of PayZapp if you want to pay rent via RedGirraffe. The way out for following is

1) Use HDFC Credit Cards and complete milestones of Infinia/DCB/Regalia Gold/Biz Black since they won't reward you on rental payments (Base Rewards). Here a fee of 1% would be applicable by HDFC Bank.
2) Load the PayZapp wallet by paying 1.78% wallet loading charges and use your IDFC Vistara/SBI Vistara cards to complete milestones.
3) If you used to pay rent using Magnus/Reserve, you can pay rent directly from the RedGiraffe website. (Not tested personally since I hold only Axis Atlas)

If you hold IDFC Vistara credit card then you can pay rent via IDFC mobile app using RG as biller

RG doesn't do that. They don't process the customer facing payments. They simply charge 0.39% and transfer it to the landlord's account.

I was trying through SBI Unipay but facing some issue fetching biller.
You also try and let us know. I will try tomorrow and confirm

Use RG website directly for Axis bank cards. Did that today. Went smoothly.

I have SBI prime vistara only . Ended up paying rent by RedGirf by loading into Pz wallet . Paid 1% extra PzWallet charges .
Earlier it used to be (0.39% RG + fixed 235 rs of SBI )

But I have used this card mutiple times and it is a hit or miss. Sometimes I get rewards and sometimes I dont get.

1. Go to credit card section in your idfc app >
2. Click on pay at the bottom of your screen >
3. Scroll down to "Recharges & Bill" section and tap "View All"
4. You will see "Rental" option in "HOUSEHOLD" section

Can confirm, this being the option. Just go under bill payment in mobile app and sub head of rentals. I just paid via IDFC vistara card

How much rewards does IDFC Vistara pay for rent via RG on IDFC bill pay? DO we get both rewards and milestone? Is there a fee from IDFC for payment?
