Payzapp Full KYC Issues: HDFC Account holders

I opened my HDFC Bank Account, way back in December 2023. Until now, as Customer of HDFC

• I am not able to do FULL KYC.
• I haven't done Partial KYC, by submitting PAN, as I feel it's my right as HDFC Customer, only to get FULL KYC Done (as Partial KYC has restrictions including limitations to Wallet load or it's validity)

Before becoming HDFC Account, Only thing, i had done was '

• registering with phone number as that in HDFC and
• not doing any KYC

Anybody here, who are facing similar issues OR found solution to issue?

Here is what they have replied to me. They are saying this from last 1 year.

Nothing can be done, hdfc is dead.

I got exactly the same reply as @Ak Singh
I didn't know that they will not allow to upgrade your KYC status once you've done minimal KYC and there wasn't any warning before doing that too. IDK what's wrong with HDFC Payzapp, first they don't allow to customise the VPA, forcing you to expose your mobile number to anybody you're paying to. Now they can't even recognise their own HDFC customers even if they log in using the same mobile number.

I called support to verify, and agent had no clue of this. This might just be another false promise

They called me again, now they are saying the update has been changed to Oct 5. But in that build you can Do Any KYC and also re-do KYC.

If full KYC is being done easily in PayZapp then it is fine but if there is any issue in it then why take so much headache, why do all your people need full KYC, who loads more than Rs. 10,000 in the wallet?

They called me again, now they are saying the update has been changed to Oct 5. But in that build you can Do Any KYC and also re-do KYC.

Has anyone been able to do Full KYC without logging into netbanking on payzapp? My family members netbanking is still not working but I want to do open Full KYC Payzapp wallet asap.

You are right. I called them again now. They are saying there is no timeline for that update now. But you will get it soon.

But since I didn't have the account i skipped this part.

I uninstalled and installed the app again but this time it was not asking for bank account, it directly went in to the dashboard.

Now in future when I open HDFC Bank account, can I link it to Payzapp?

If u had SB earlier then yes , u could have got full kyc payzapp but now its not possible.

U just have be with min kyc until hdfc reforms its systems ;/

I haven't done any kyc on payzapp.
When I login and see the kyc section it says KYC to be completed.
And there are 2 options - bank based full kyc and basic kyc

Does it still mean I cannot do the full kyc at all? Or I have some chance still?

I will provide the update here. Will open HDFC account this weekend. Hoping for the best
