Payzapp + Red Girraffe MCC Patched

Payzapp has corrected the MCC for rent transactions done on Red Girraffe. I did a transaction yesterday and the merchant name is reflected as PZRENT. The transaction got settled today and Axis has charged a 1% rent surcharge + GST as well. So it’s no longer reflected as a utility transaction

Is it only for rent? Or is it for education fee too?

Well I hope this continues to work. Payzapp allows wallet loading without any charges, which is quite uncommon now. All wallets charge for loading via cc or have very minimal thresholds not suited for rental amounts. I will try this next month. As for cards SC Ultimate, IDFC, Amazon pay etc will work and give reward points on wallet loads

will Amazon pay card give 1% cashback for adding money to PZ wallet?

That's true but I seriously want to understand the reward rate in percentage after paying the processing fee. I think because I usually try to take Vistara flights as the BLR-DEL route has a good frequency, these vouchers help me a lot and that's why I thought it is beneficial. I never tried to do the math!!

Many tell 1CV = ₹0.6-₹0.8 roughly.
Now you can calculate whether it's profitable or loss making as per your rent amount
