Permanently closed axis credit card

I had previously closed LTF myzone credit card sometime 2 years back. (Applied for Flipkart cc received IOCL cc instead and raised request to close it and axis employee closed both of my cards, I didn't care about it that time)
Now I emailed customer care to reissue LTF myzone cc and they denied saying it was permanently closed and generic line apply for cc through online portal.
I still have that old card with me and in curiosity tried to make a transaction of 1₹ through payzapp wallet and received otp but transaction failed.
I'm daily getting spam calls to apply for cc, can I apply for myzone again and would it be approved?

It will easily get approved. It's financial year end

Yes why not. I closed it 6 months back and still getting it; though never completed the process since I've my eyes on Ace.

Wait for one more month and then ask CC first

First check in CIBIL whether it is reported as closed
