Yes, its calendar month and also counts based on transaction settle date not on transaction date..

My Statement date is 3rd and thinking that i did 3k transaction on 31st aug, which was settled on 2nd sep, 300 rewards added and billed on 3rd statement..

Now i did transaction of 20k thinking its a new statement month.. but strangely i got only 1700 rewards instead of 2000

So, what's the usual settle time for upi and card otp transactions?

For me upi transactions mostly settle on next working day and otp transactions taking 2-3 days to settle

I have noticed upi transactions done before 12pm settle next day. And after 12 pm transactions settle after 1 day. Means they settle in batches. Batch of upi Transactions done upto 12pm today are settled by tomorrow morning.
Can anyone else confirm this pattern?

While paying via UPI, the payment to shows as HDFC ERGO and at the bottom the reference url is www.phonepe.com and while trying to pay with card and otp getting the two below merchant names. Can someone pls confirm which is eligible for 10%?

This 2000 capping for 10% cb on Phonepe is per billing cycle or per calendar month? Can anyone confirm this?

Yes thought so, but on the UPI pin's page i got the merchant name shows as below which caused the confusion. I'm trying to renew my car insurance btw.

Just a few hours ago, someone said in a WhatsApp group that he got 10% cashback on car insurance after making the payment through UPI.

I did 2 jio recharges & interestingly I got different merchant names - first time it was 'phonepe' but second time it was 'JioRecharge'. Would be interesting to see if both tranx get 10% CB. One was through upi pin (0.8% including GST) & the other was cc OTP mode (1.5% including GST) 🤔

RuPay PIN or UPI PIN ?

you will get 10% cb on both transaction.

Prepaid/postpaid recharge - UPI charge lowest conv fee.

So always use UPI.

@HumorSimpson 'phonepeutility' gives 10% cashback for sure. I always do OTP payment only. Haven't tried upi as it charges more.

Not sure for 'phonepe' as i only got 1% cashback for that. But i did that transaction on 26 July so maybe system was not updated back then.
Have mailed them asking to credit remaining points too. But even nodal officer is some noob who can't read English and saying 1% is correct 😂
Will escalate if noob don't reply.

Update on this
Noobs realized their mistake and credited me remaining 9% rp for my transaction today.

So maybe 'phonepe' merchant name is valid too for utility. Will recommend using other confirmed merchant though.

Called cc this morning for rewards redemption and that guy said if cash credit 199+ get and if voucher it’s free
I shouted him that I wait online u can check ur website phonepe black product catalogue whether charges there then he immediately said sorry sir it’s free only and ur 2k points will be given 2k rupee credit tomorrow and shared a reg no haha
Now its confirmed by u that calendar month and reward credit date not spend date
Joining voucher I am yet to cross 45 days let’s see when they send by mail
