Please suggest a credit card for offline purchases

VibhavBilgoji

TF Premier
I have enough cards to cover all my online purchases and return good amount of cashback. I want a card which would give a decent cashback on offline purchases especially departmental store shopping.

Preferably a lifetime free card, I already have few paid cards which offer 1% cashback on offline purchases, so I don't want a paid card for offline purchases specifically

RBL Play credit card gives 2 assured movie tickets worth Rs.500/- per month from total Rs.5000/- on any offline/online spend in previous month. So, 10% cashback on any spend.

Points to keep in mind
1. Card can be applied from BookMyShow app (profile section)
2. Convince fee will be charged extra on BookMyShow movie tickets. ( So, final cashback will be nearer to 9%)
3. Annual fee Rs.500/-+GST, waived off if you are Superstar on BookMyShow (complete 10 bookings in year).

What’s your monthly off-line spend?
I don't spend much actually 😅
Under 3k probably

I see three options.
1. The unpopular opinion - Flipkart card. Kuch sochna nahi padta. Easily LTF can be gotten, keep your eyes open.

2. Ace - it's an upgraded version of Flipkart (but 500rs chargeable) so I'm not really sure as for yet. To apply for it - https://www.technofino.in/community...rs-500-cashback-not-visible.10516/post-171392

Cons for axis cards - insurance spends don't get cashback. Pros - mostly rest of the things covered.
Ace is specialised for utilities payment so that's something you should consider.
Here's a link if you want to do more research - https://www.technofino.in/community...xis-flipkart-for-offline-spends-purely.10828/

3. Tata neu infinity - there's an offer right now - do around 15k+ spends across 9 orders and get the card LTF.
Pros - if you're a bigbasket spender, this is a good opportunity.
Insurance also gets 5% cashback.
1.5% flat cashback on offline spends.

Cons - the cashback is neu coins, and everything on the neu app is V.Expensive 🤣🤣
Never seen a Flipkart axis ltf offer actually 😅
When do they usually go ltf?
Like what time of the year

If you have Axis account - or have any Axis cards, login to your app and check pre approved offers, many cards will be there. For me as well, ACE never showed up in GPay, but it is in my preapproved offers in Axis bank app. Do check. For offline ACE is best currently, FK Axis heavily devalued, many cards lost cashbacks/rewards on merchant categories/utilities.
Through their axis mobile app? I never got any offer

If you have another axis credit card/bank account, then go to Credit cards, you will see your credit cards. Below that, there might be a option - Apply now. Click on that, click next/move forward - it will show you pre-approved offers if you have any. If pre-approved, no Cibil enquiry, instant card generated, delivery within 7 days.

After clicking on that ,i clicked for existing customer option , but after writing my mobile number, it said no details found

thanks ill surely check that out
Go for HDFC MILLENIA card..
No one will normally suggest you..
But it's a best balanced card n better than axis ace of spent 33-35k /month.
1% ofline spend cashback +1000/1lacs amazon quarterly voucher.
So, technically of 1 lacs/3 months spend we get 2% cashback.. 😃
Get it in LTF Or waiver on 1lacs/yearly spend..
Extra add on
Wallet Load, EMI sab pe 1% cashback.
Online 5% limited cashback on many major sites..

I feel Axis Ace is best for offline.
Flat 2% on all transactions.

If your offline spends are more.. n you can get a premium card, then go for it.
Atleast 15-20k offline spends then only go for premium, else Ace is best.

Hey, I am kinda in similar need of a card for offline spends.
My monthly spends on average are -

Grocery (offline) - 8000
Restaurants offline - 10000
Travel- 5000
Utility Bills - 5000
Fuel - 7500

I have Magnus, SBI cashback, ICICI Amazon pay, HDFC regalia.

Intend to use magnus only in months when hitting 1 Lac milestone.
For Online spends, usually SBI or look for offers.

So I need a card for offline spends. So a combo of Magnus + SBI cashback + Something for offline.

Please suggest.
Thanks
