Yes FIR involved zonal head and RBI against BM

To top that off they changed my mobile no without my consent

They failed to show one single document that I initiated the change

Plus the sheer arrogance of these thieves they were telling me I had purchased the policy and have forgotten about it

Upgrade - yes. I wrote a hand written application to BM and they first denied any such variant and asked me the scheme code. Then after escalation, they upgraded.

can we upgrade only by sending e mails to their grievance team , because opening the elite account directly offline would be a better option than writing a written application to bm

This money siphoning happened to me as well in 2022. The bank employee used to hold debit cards at branch and would withdraw 100-200INR every week using the pin shipped with the card. After complained, I got the money back and the employee was suspended for 3 months.

Mine doesn't say Elite. It says Savings Fund Premium Cust.
No, they have not given me any pre-qualified card, maybe it depends upon branch.
