Does it make sense to get a PNB Elite Savings account (Premium) for the Rupay Select Debit Card?
It requires 50K QAB and the charges for the card are waived off. According to this page on their website https://www.pnbindia.in/Feature-of-PNB-Elite-Saving-Fund-Schemes.html
Are there any hidden terms and conditions for removal of joining and annual fees?

Before these cards came, PNB offered 50k MAB to get RSDC, they also had 2 add ons. I got one add on already.

If I now I decide to switch to Elite Executive account, current DC will get other benefits too? What shall be my approach should be? Goal is to get maximum benefits, 1L MAB is already maintained.

Here one twitter user just share this - he upgrade student account to 1L QAB and got PNB Imperial/Elite Executive RuPay select debit card (upgrade any PNB account to 1L QAB).

Now he apply for 3 add-on card too (same PNB Imperial/Elite Executive RuPay select debit card variant) because he will get Rs16000 vouchers (usi ne calculate kiya, maine nahi kiya toh pucho maat kaha se 16k voucher)

Yes I asked them to enable back.

If u want to be specific or branch guys are cooperative, tell them to look for value added sms disable option, not sms alerts deactivation

I opened a pnb account online today. completed vkyc so like when can I expect the account to get opened ?

Hi guys, sorry for replying to an old thread.
I am planning to open PNB Elite saving (1L) for RSDC.
Can you tell me if the add on (2 cards) are also free or paid?
Now that PNB has removed the MAB requirements, is it valid on this account too? In that case I'll be charged for the DCs next year and I am ok with that.

What is the maximum number of DCs which can be obtained through this account?
And the whole process is still offline right? I have to visit to open first, and then 2 times for each add on?

Nope bro its paid. And for new account variants like Elite --- Addon concept gone instead you need to tell them issue additional primary card --- SAI CardCode

Cool, opened the account yesterday and found out they give a customized account number with it.
Now my HDFC and PNB have the same number😊.
While filling in the number employee asked me whether I was opening it for the number, then I could've gotten the Student account, and I told him I needed the DCs.

The process took 45 minutes, and then I came home and received a call 30 minutes later to pick up the passbook, and it does say elite exclusive account.
Unable to log in to the app, though.
The employee told me to visit again, once I get the primary card, they'll apply most probably 2 add ons together.

The branch was kinda empty, and the customer which they had were all pensioners, so my experience was great and it's a minute walk only.

I have given a visit to the branch almost 2-3 times now, but was unable to get the additional DC's and the employees are not that well equipped with the information related to these as they don't generally deal with such stuff, but they are co-operative at least to handle the request

ask them what issue are they facing while applying, its usual application any any average employee shall be able to apply
