Possible to Return a Phone on Amazon because I don't like it?

After marriage, replacement/return is not allowed so same logic is for mobile phone

Thoroughly check the reviews on multiple forums before any purchase

Indians are habitual and chronic misusers of return policy...my idiot friend buy clothes from myntra, wear it in party and return...now she is blocked on myntra

If i dont like speaker then it is not a fault of amazon.
Buddy, just because people like your friend abused the return policy doesn’t mean everyone else should suffer. You think such abuses don’t happen in the States or Europe? Those countries simply have better consumer protection laws. The real issue here is that some of us are pushovers, so these giants get away with it here.

Now, let’s assume this device has a "real" defect. Instead of providing a convenient return option, they expect one to travel kilometers to a service center for a solution. It’s easy to dismiss until you’re the one dealing with the inconvenience.

phn kharidne se pehele youtube pe dekha nei tha kya reviews?
I did. The speakers are okayish. Since my old phone has better sound quality, the new one sounds weird, and I keep comparing them. I'll need some time to get used to it.. Like Mr. Bean said, I'll have to start using headphones / external speakers. Or maybe sell it off.

Firstly, it is not a defect...If you compare any smartphone with apple then all android devices are defective...even If device has defect then how amazon is responsible as amazon is only an e-commerce platform....Return/refund policy is decided by the seller not amazon....You shud have checked the same before purchase.

We have huge expectation from amazon but try to buy from a nearby shop..Firstly, they sell seconds/repaired units and they will open the box only after receiving payment....99% of mobile shops issue fake GST invoice...

I am sorry to say your phone is not defective but only the speaker is not as per your expectation...I checked couple of reviews of this phone and they clearly mention it as feedback....You bought a phone without proper due diligence & it is your fault not amazon...

you are creating a issue out of nothing.

By the way, amazon return rate in India is 70% and in western countries it is less than 20%...Will you accept something which is returned by someone else and for sure your answer will be NO.

Some premium android phones are almost as good, if not better, than apple devices. But hey, you do you.

Also, Amazon can be held liable for defective goods. Various Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions have already ruled on this.

Most importantly, nowhere have I said that I got a defective device. I've been clear from the beginning that I want to return it because I didn't like it. That's literally the title of this thread. I even replied to another user today, saying that maybe I'm nitpicking it too much.

Be honest, do you work at Amazon or in some other e-commerce company?

And where did you even get that 70% figure from?

You asked a question and answered it yourself. Let me answer it, nah? Pretty please??
