How do you get pre approved offer in canara? I have a very strong banking relationship with canara for last 10 years. 20L+ Fd,NRV more than 70L,50K account balance, 784 CIBIL. Got 4 Bank's (SBI, ICICI, Axis, HDFC) pre approved but not a single rupee offer from Canara Bank. I thought all PSU except SBI are blinds.

Got 4 Bank's (SBI, ICICI, Axis, HDFC) pre approved but not a single rupee offer from Canara Bank. I thought all PSU except SBI are blinds.

I have 2 year old account and I rarely use that account for transaction. I got mail from head office to apply via this link actually it was a pre-approved link I entered my account details so it's showing congratulations you are pre-approved.

So @Sahilhenzy you didn't get any RuPay credit card in the pre-approved list? Only Visa and Mastercard from a PSU? That's odd.

No rupay cards were shown. Only Visa,MasterCard. Seems like canara bank is loyal to Visa, MasterCard.

It takes effort to tie up with a new operator.

Has anyone got Canara Bank Select CC?

My Dad had CanCard when credit cards were rare. They used to take impression using a credit card imprinter and then check a printed hotlist ad tally signature 😀

Yes account required to apply for their credit card. Many public sector banks have this rule.

Btw if anyone got an add-on card for Canara Credit card please let me know if they have "card inactivity fee" for add-on separately. For primary card, it is a spend-based waiver so if you don't spend a certain amount you are charged a fee. Is that the same for add-on card??

I visited the Canara branch for add-on CREDIT card but they said add-on holder must also have Canara Bank savings account or some customer ID, only then they issue add-on
