Pre Approved offer criteria - What to do

damn

TF Select
I am trying to get pre-approved credit cards from ICICI or HDFC. For this purpose, I can deploy 8-9L for a long period. And before anyone says I am losing money, I cannot invest it; need it in liquid form for use when needed.

I will be joining a company in June, which allows me to get Coral LTF via the ICICI Company-based credit card website. So now, I am not sure if I should keep that money in ICICI or not.

Monthly spends of 2L on average on the lower side; sometimes goes upto 5L.

Background-
HDFC - Digisave AC
ICICI - 0 MAB
Current ITR - 7L approx

Credit cards from Axis - 2.78L, HDFC(Closed) - 20k, SBI - 80k, Indian Bank - 5L, PNB - 70k, Onecard - 5.5L, Yes Bank - 1L
Credit score - 770 Cibil, 790 Experian, 760 Crif

Thanks in advance

HDFC: Apply c2c for millenia using Axis card.

ICICI: Apply apay ICICI and after 2-3 months u will immediately get offers for coral cc.

Pro tip: Upgrade digisave youth account to regular savings account and get it upgraded to imperia banking.

I canceled my HDFC card last week, so I assume a cooldown would be active.

Cannot apply for apay as was rejected in January; will apply when it activates again.

Does the account variant matter? Pardon my asking as am not aware of how things work at HDFC.

wow, how you managed 70L limit from PNB ?

Checked Imperia
Unfortunately, I cannot maintain that kind of AMB/AQB right now.
First convert account to savings max in hdfc and for icici privilege account by maintaining 10k

Also do an FD and get a secured card in icici to get amazon pay icici card easily or buy anything expensive from amazon.

I assume buying anything also work's for apay cc not necessarily expensive.

I regularly buy GVs (under 1k) from 4-5 accounts, and every account has apply option.

Rejection depends upon area pin code and details filled in application, and 6 months cooling period from previous rejection (if any) and completely RANDOM reasons.

I buy almost everything from Amazon
The offer has been in my account since the ICICI Amazon partnership, but got eligible last year only.
And yet was declined.

Yep, I am aware that mere availability of offer does not mean that I will get it.
Had the offer for years, tried 2 times to apply, but no luck

From Savings Account, not CC

Cc spends are dynamic, some months it gets maxed out, some months nothing

I gave that value as I thought that this information would help with understanding how I can trigger pre-approved offer.

How would that help? I read on other threads that people can use the secured card to get the Apay card directly.

Unfortunately, as said above, I cannot lock the funds in; they have to remain liquid.

Besides, I am not in the mood for applying for secured card, as the company I am joining will get Coral via the ICICI corporate portal.

If you are about to get coral then apply apay after you get coral.

Your icici problem will resolve after you get one unsecured card.

For hdfc you have to wait atleast 6 months with good funds to generate better offer otherwise it will generated for low end variant card with low limits
