So do u guys know how do i get pre-approved offer in hdfc.
My situation right now is:
1) I have an fd backed icici instant platinum credit card with 45k limit
2)I am 19 yrs old
3)civil of 760, Experian of 764

the issue here is my age as I believe no bank gives card to under 21.
So I don't have an account in hdfc bank but should I open a saving account in hdfc so that I can get pre approved offers? if so which type of saving account should I open.

@SSV sir what is the use of iScore; mine is 81 is it good or bad ?
Its good. the more the better and maximum is 100.

It is ICICI internal scoring like CIBIL..
It helps in giving better offers, interesta rates, loan amounts etc..
How much they are taking it weightage , no-one knows..
But my gut feel is, it is having some impact on the offers we are getting automatically by the system ...

The app says it can be improved by :

Scanning any QR to make payment

Booking your train tickets using imobile Pay

Recharging for any mobile network

All in all seems like a push to keep customer within iMobile ecosystem.

In hdfc, card variant and credit limit is mostly based on your AMB. Maintain the amount you want in credit limit.

I will just give a sore advice and it will be ignored that I know too, but anyway - Unless you have a regular earning do'nt go into CC, premium dc, multiple a/c etc
Financial planning takes a constant toll on mind, build a career first rest of the things will follow.

So the ML score they were referring was probably the iScore
most probably i guess but then

I feel it might be to make customers use IMobile ecosystem but we never know

My iScore is 70 for more than 06 months.

They offered me (PreApproved) :

PayLater (now it disappeared since I didn't take it ),
Then Consumer EMI
Now Home loan (Yes, Pre Approved).

But no Credit card offer yet.

Neither from ICICI nor From Amazon.

I don't use Amazon that often.

I had closed one ICICI Secured credit card last year, after using it for four years, not sure if that may be one of the factor in no pre approved credit card offer.

CIBIL history of Five years in almost steady "Excellent" range.. Similar with Experian score.

this is just an input for analysis of those who may be interested to understand the correlation between iScore and some other things mentioned in this thread.

@SSV is one such person if I am not wrong who may share how he Decodes this 🙂
