Namaskar 🙏

I have received a call from the agent stating based on my transactions I am eligible for two 'pre-approved' credit card.

1. Yes Rewards Plus Credit Card (LTF after spending â‚ą5000 in the first month as per her, virtual only)

2. BYOC Card (LTF, subscriptions are not mandatory as per her, which I find very hard to believe, without the subscriptions this card's purpuse is defeated)

Both are available on Rupay platform as per her.

I didn't believe her at first but she did send email to my registered email ID with Yes Bank from their Yes Bank email ID.

So, do you magic and tell me which one should I pick.

PS. I don't see any offer for me on the mobile app oddly, however she did send me email from Yes Bank email ID confirming I have pre-approved offer.

Is there any way to check myself what are the offers available for me?

Many thanks!

This year in March they promissed me LTF Yes First Exclusive! When i received the card, it was chargeable. Later i saw an offer on their website that you will get 1500 rupee amazon voucher on this cards activation, i activated it, but i didn't receive any voucher. I called the customer care, and they told me this gift card would have been given if you had applied directly from the website and not through the agent!!!!

Update: So I responded to the email I received from the local Yes Bank's CC sales manager from his official email ID and asked whether the information provided by the agent over call i.e., LTF cards, are valid.

His response was none of the cards are LTF and charged as usual. 🤭 But I do have pre-approved offer.

A banner has appeared since today on my Yes Bank mobile banking app that says 'you are pre-qualified for a credit card'.

Now please tell me how different it is from 'pre-approved' and should I take a chance? Is there a CIBIL hit possibility?

Thanks y'all.

Being pre-qualified indicates that you are eligible to apply for the card. However, it also entails applying for a new card and undergoing the complete card application process, including a CIBIL inquiry.

its was a paid card so i didnt activated it but they keep sending me msg to pay the dues even though i can see the card inactivated in the app .
Watch out for your credit score, they might send rogue report and mess it up. Contact them to stop this and escalate as per their grievance redressal policy, citing relevant RBI directions.

If the card is not activated then there shouldn't be any dues either, also, as per RBI inactive cards for more than 30 days should be closed within 7 days after seeking customer confirmation, but since they are somehow asking this, better check it out.
