Hi All,

I tried my best to convert My DCB to LTF but i was rejected
1) Any criteria to get DCB LTF?
2) My RM is asking me to put request for infinia upgrade after cooling period ,What is cooling period ? Will it be approved ? i don't have So much ITR

I have Magnus. Infinia is only invite based. One of the main reason why I am looking for DCB LTF is for unlimited international lounge access for add-on cards. There are very less option for unlimited international lounge for add-on card.

My understanding on magnus is that unlimited intl for main holders and 8 times in an year we can take add on also for intl lounges
Or add on also have unlimited intl?

get idfc wealth then, which is ltf. you will get 16 international lounge access - 4 per quarter - for add-on and for yourself you can use magnus. if 16 is not enough for you and you are a frequent traveler then maybe you can consider dcb. but reward rate and redemption is not worth the fees imo.

For unlimited domestic lounge access on add-on, I have BoB Eterna which has fees of Rs. 2500 but I have used it for more than 3L+, so it's literally free for 2 years(I applied in June 2022).

Magnus has international lounge access with PP?

Magnus Add-on doesn't have any international lounge access. If the primary card holder is travelling then he/she can take 8 guest in total with them in a year. But the main point is primary holder needs to travel. Most of the time I don't accompany my parents on trips. So it's an issue.

Magnus has international lounge access with PP?

Yes the initial kit itself contained cc and pp package together

I applied IDFC and they gave me IDFC Select card and it doesn't have any international lounge access. I might have to wait for a year to get it upgraded since I received it 2-3 months back.

lol, forget about upgrade...i actively followed up for 6 months before they gave it to me despite being eligible

Upgrade done. Can see DCB in my mobile banking app. They confirmed unconditional LTF status over email.

Good that you got the upgrade, I don't see NITW in the list. Would they honor the offer for top US/International university?

Yes. NITW can get this card. One of my friends from NITW got DCB LTF last month by just submitting the certificate . He does not have any account in HDFC. So you can contact HDFC directly through email (you can find regional HDFC mail in websites) by mentioning the college name.

Do eligible alumni get an additional DCB if they already hold another HDFC CC like Infinia? Or one card rule applies here as well?
