How many days it took for this upgrade?
What all was asked exactly? Payslip of around what income? any thing else? My Salary is 1.52 Per month? Is it applicable to me?Got my Millenia CC (1 lakh limit) upgraded to DCB LTF (5 lakh limit) under Alumni offer.

Technically they require > 1.75L/month as per eligibility requirements, try it out anyways. What all was asked exactly? Payslip of around what income? any thing else? My Salary is 1.52 Per month? Is it applicable to me?
Okay Got it! At what income did you apply? If you okay to shareTechnically they require > 1.75L/month as per eligibility requirements, try it out anyways.
Documents/details asked:
1. Your consent for card upgrade mentioning the last four digits of your current card number.
2. Credit Card variant to be upgraded.
3. Acceptance towards transfer of Reward points from your old HDFC Bank credit card to the new card variant as per the applicable conversion ratio.
4. Degree completion certificate from an institute in Alumni program list
5. Valid proof of employment (payslips)
Fortunately I got a bonus last month that took my payslip amount to >1.75L (around INR 2.35L). HDFC didn't seem to look into the breakup of the payslip that much 🙂Okay Got it! At what income did you apply? If you okay to share
True with hdfc many of their staff don’t know what about gross and net salary lolFortunately I got a bonus last month that took my payslip amount to >1.75L (around INR 2.35L). HDFC didn't seem to look into the breakup of the payslip that much 🙂
The list didn’t have such mention but like bits pilani kind of Dubai campus will be considered as exceptionalRegalia LTF to DCB FYF was accepted for me with just under short of 1L payslip and existing 5L regalia credit limit.
Just curious, do they accept Indian nationals who are foreign university alumni as part of DCB LTF offer?
Thanks, I'll meet the 5L annual spend threshold easily. Think I'll email them after 6 months or so after meeting the spend threshold. PS: It's a US based universityThe list didn’t have such mention but like bits pilani kind of Dubai campus will be considered as exceptional
You can try. There is no harm in trying 🙂Regalia LTF to DCB FYF was accepted for me with just under short of 1L payslip and existing 5L regalia credit limit.

So you basically just shared 1 month payslip?Fortunately I got a bonus last month that took my payslip amount to >1.75L (around INR 2.35L). HDFC didn't seem to look into the breakup of the payslip that much 🙂
Yep, they didn't specify the number of payslips required. One worked. So you basically just shared 1 month payslip?

IMO yes from 2nd year u can do spend based waiversI am NIT Warangal alumni but they told NIT Warangal is not under Alumni program. They are offering FYF DCB. Should I take it?
i have ltf dcb and still find it difficult to find much value due to limited redemption options. better go for other cards like magnus or infinia that have almost same fees but at least you get equivalent amount of reward points on renewal. Unless your spends are high enough for annual fee waiver.I am NIT Warangal alumni but they told NIT Warangal is not under Alumni program. They are offering FYF DCB. Should I take it?
I have Magnus. Infinia is only invite based. One of the main reason why I am looking for DCB LTF is for unlimited international lounge access for add-on cards. There are very less option for unlimited international lounge for add-on card. For unlimited domestic lounge access on add-on, I have BoB Eterna which has fees of Rs. 2500 but I have used it for more than 3L+, so it's literally free for 2 years(I applied in June 2022).i have ltf dcb and still find it difficult to find much value due to limited redemption options. better go for other cards like magnus or infinia that have almost same fees but at least you get equivalent amount of reward points on renewal.
