Query on Axis credit card application process

I applied for Axis Magnus online last night. Upon successful submission of the online form, I received an SMS with the application ID. There has been no email or o other communication afterwards. Just now, received a call from lady and informing me that my application is approved and and an agent will meet me in an hour to collect the salary slip and biometrics. Is is it the normal process? So far, I have received 6 credit cards of five banks. None of the cases involved human intervention. How to verify the person and the purpose is genuine? When I checked the status online using the application ID, received the message 'No details found'

It’s the standard process with Axis. The application tracker is broken, it takes a lot of time to reflect actual status. Sometimes you will receive the card before the updates.

I went through the same process. It's normal. Their tracking is useless, ignore it.
