Query on Credit limit for SBI Vistara Card

Hi,
I am holding SBI BPCL Rupay card with a limit of 3.2 lakh. I recently applied for SBI Vistara card through an agent ( call center). The application is in process from last 8 days but I’m hoping I will get the card.
Today I received a call from SBI asking me to determine the Credit limit split on the new card. I was under the impression that I will get a separate limit on the card :/
Is there a way to get higher limit on Vistara card? What’s the best time to get it?

If you have other SBI cards with good credit limit and also have other bank cards. Either they directly decline the applications saying overleverage or give you an option to split the existing card limit. You are lucky that you got the later one.

This is what it is. There is no way around. Either accept this or reject.

Can somebody confirm when do we get the vistara silver tier upgrade, its been month I got sbi vistara prime card.
