I get atleast 1 refund for payment failure in irctc through various gateways. They always show up as separate entry but don't think it's imps/neft. I always assumed that whatever ER i received will be reversed! Let me check in next statement.

Rarely known info about HDFC DCB hack on Swiggy
I got something similar on my AU Bank CC, had overshot the limit and got refund as payment 🙂
Even refund shows IRCTC MPP,NEW DELHI,IN, but I do not see reversal of points anywhere 🤔
interesting, wait for a while the debit will come for sure since this is a merchant reversal

not really sure, but it will be processed as any normal ER reversal, you know ERs not credited on time so probably same goes with the debits

Is this still working in DCB ?
Once I bought washing machine from Croma - on No cost emi + Merchant cashback scheme. Del was about 4-5 days but after couple of days, they called and told me product is out of stock and insisted for higher model, i denied and asked for refund. They issued refund but meanwhile my transaction was converted in to EMI so I received cashback + No cost EMI for even refunded amount.
I read somewhere that this is know technique, now a days croma gives no cost option online as well, can try ordering and cancelling if exact timeframe known. And for croma, i dont think account block can be issue like amazon

When you book hotels from Intermiles and cancel the booking, you get payment through imps which bank doesn't consider as refund. May be this posted somewhere.
Unfortunately yes. They have some charges.
Yes. They call it platform charges. I did a transaction of 83k, they charged around 700.
Anyone tried recently? Is swiggy or intermiles trick still working for DCB or magnus?
