Finally, RBI has lifted the ban on Amex India. Amex India can now issue new credit cards.
Here is the official order -



BTW, American Express India hasn't started accepting new applications yet. We have to wait a few more days for that. And then we'll be able to apply for new amex credit card 💳

Also you can secure your Amex cards now on merchant apps/websites. Just secured my Amex Sapphiro on Swiggy & Zomato.

Hopefully they start accepting applications pan India from now on and not limited to a handful cities as they have been doing. Is there anyway to get an amex card if you're outside of their limited cities?
