RBI Lifts Ban on Kotak Mahindra Bank, Allows Issuance of New Credit Cards and Online Customer Onboarding

I have 3 kotak cards. rupay league LTF, Kotak myntra fee is 499+gst, and urbane.

I put in closure req for myntra and urbane

they gave me ltf for urbane to retain the card, i said ok.

myntra they are not willing to waive off fee but they gave me 250rs cashback for free in my savings acc

I raised request to close my 811 credit card (FD)
Got call today from retention team
They said they will credit back my fd+interest amount and i can keep card still
In temp block state?
Can anyone confirm ...whats that?

maybe it will be in temp block and fd will liquidate and then they will convert it to non fd based (unsecured) cc

not now bcuz still they are not issuing... after 1st april they will be back so better to wait and then try the closure route and get upgrade... mention that ur league doesnt have a lounge they will offer u fyf zen or mojo tell now u dont need fyf u need ltf only they will give mostly... at present wait till april

No....no they will block the card temp but if u want it again u have to book fd again and u will get limit accordingly

The card will not get closed permanently

We have to request them for permanent closure instead of temp block

Currently: No
They might start issuing cards from apr 2025 I think.

New card issuance and upgrade they are gonna start from 1st Apr

LE you may get it based upon the relationship with the bank, I got mine 25% increased last week
