Compensation from IndusInd Bank: ₹5000 for Lack of Email Response
I wanted to share my experience with IndusInd Bank regarding their lack of response to my emails about the reward points structure. I had sent 4-5 emails requesting clarification on the monthly reward points summary, as I was concerned I wasn’t receiving points for certain transactions. Unfortunately, I never got any response.
After waiting for a while, I decided to raise a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman. It was only after this complaint that IndusInd finally shared the detailed summary and cleared up my doubts.
However, I was still not satisfied Because They only replied after the intervention of the RBI team, and when I spoke to the RBI team, they confirmed that IndusInd hadn't responded to my emails earlier.
I even asked the RBI team if I would need to file an RBI complaint every time I require support from IndusInd. Eventually, IndusInd offered a compensation of ₹5000 for the inconvenience caused.
