If card requested at the time of opening the account, it will start showing in the app as soon as the account is opened and account opening should get completed within 3 working days

Ideally, it should be within 2-3 weeks, but then again we are talking about RBL, so don't quote me on this. Also, to be on the safer side, just do a POS transaction offline.

It depends on your requirements. Additionally, as Tejo mentioned, EDC comes with many restrictions concerning MCC. There are also renewal charges applicable for EDC, while Signature+ charges can be waived if you spend 5L+ in the preceding year. You can check the differences here:

My spends are not that high and I don't want to manufacture spends hence thinking of going with EDC. For someone like me EDC is better as you can collect full 1k points by just paying 20k CC bill on Mobikwik. So long as Mobikwik doesn't change MCC for CC bill payment. Whereas for Signature+ one would need to spend 1Lac to get 1k points. If you can spend that much then any day Sign+ is a better card.
