RBL card mis-selling by branch staff

Hello i bring to ur kind notice, I’ve visited the RBL branch for applying world safari credit card, they asked to me open a HNI variant account for processing the credit card with higher limit than my existing credit cards . i’ve given initial cheque for 5 lakh and my account was opened on 28 th march and they applied card through offline by taking my ITR , later card got approved with very least limit of 63k ,As promised by bank staff i should be getting atleast more than 3 lakh which is my existing credit card limit , it’s no where a match i’ve a good cibil with 779 Now what shall do in this case ?
 
RBL credit limit is always a scam. I had initial limit of 4.6L then one fine day they decide to slash it to 46K, straight away called them and cancelled the card. They give assurance that it will be increased once you start using it but never believe them.

You didn't have to open any account with them ,certainly didn't need to put down 5L for it

Getting RBL card is easy online or through sales agents at airport, malls etc

RBL usually gives lower limits ,they do eventually Increase it but in my experience it's still quite lower then ICICI ,Onecard and even IDFC

My question would be why go through all that trouble to get World Safari ,unless getting LTF and traveling abroad at least once a year, it's really not that great

Don't sleep in same bed.

I applied through paisabazaar and card got approved without any problem
 
HELP NEEDED : I LITERALLY HAVE THE CALL RECORDING OF THE BRANCH EMPLOYEE ABOUT THE MISSELLING OF THE CARD I KINDA MAILED THEM TO THEIR ESCALATION TEAM ON 30 TH APRIL LITERALLY GOT NO REPLY FROM THEM BEEN TWO MONTHS IN THE MEAN TIME I HAVENT ACTIVATED THE CARD OR DID ANY TRANSACTION TILL THE DEADLINE I EVEN ASKED THEM & MAIL THEM TO WAIVE OFF FYF TILL YOU RESOLVE THE ISSUE GOT NO REPLY FOR THAT TOO SO I HAVENT ACTIVATED THE CARD EVEN THEN CARD IS NOT YET CLOSED I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH BANKING OMBUDS MAN AFTER THAT NOW THEY ARE SAYING OUR EMPLOYEE HASN'T MISSOLD THE CARD BLATANTLY LYING ON MY FACE I HAVE EVERY PROOF OF THEIR EMPLOYEE MENTIONING THE SAME SO WHAT SHALL I DO NOW ?

If it's been one month from formal email complaint write to RBL

😅 i've mailed them no use so i filed a complaint with BANKING OMBUDSMAN after that they called up and they started backing up their branch staff and what my concern here is i haven't activated or done any transaction using that card and also i've written mails saying i'll activate only if you guys waive off FYF but got no reply regarding it but the card is still active right now i kind of received the card on 30 th april as per RBI guidelines 30+7 ( grace ) if we don't activate they should close the card and these RBL guys even opened a account on my cibil too even without activating the card

Complain to rbi ombudsman
 
one more complaint to RBI mentioning about this am i allowed in prev complaint i just reported about misselling of card ? can i do that now or shall i wait till one of my complaint gets resolved with them?
I thought u complaint to bank internal ombudsman

If you have complaint to rbi ombudsman
Then wait and don't let case close unless you get what you wanted.

I have 5 accounts in RBL and 5 of family members.
They'll lick your 🥎 until they feel they can benefit from you. Will tell you lies, deceive you, shower you with praises, do false promises and commitment, visit your home everyday, call you in morning and evening just asking hello, how're you sir.

Once you tell them to get lost they'll start attacking you, barking at you , abusing you.

You can complaint to anyone nobody will listen. Area head , cluster head , regional head, nodal head , ceo everyone is 💩💩💩💩

I have walked that path and still nothing came out of it. Although i haven't gave up yet
 
Literally i agree with you their Escalation & all the banking heads are useless pretty much worst customer service lets whats gonna happen its not resolved yet from RBI ombudman

Rbi will take action if enough customers complaint. But they stress customers so much that they give up amd shift to other banks. Also their main target is people from tier 2 or 3 cities where people aren't aware about RBI ombudsman or process of escalation.

Even after RBI complaint RBL will try their best to make customer look bad.

There is no transparency and they break every compliance/rules.

99% of their sales is by lieing.
If anyone wants to become expert in miselling, they must join RBL for few months.
