RBL is now started decreasing Credit Limit Check yours

After my Zomato edition card was changed to shoprite card , I mailed them to close the same as I had no requirement for the same.

Although I was okey to upgrade it to some premium card via retention team.

Meanwhile , yesterday , they revised my credit limit and reduced it to 30k from 252k.

Should I close the card , as RBL cards are 100% useless ? IMG_20230701_100839.jpg

Same for my father. I just checked his limit was 1.8L now revised to 30K.
And this was my father oldest card more than 5 6 yrs old i guess and till no late payment from my father..

USers of RBL CC: raddi card h apke sab fir bhi limit km kr rhe ho ap.

RBL CC : Hamare yaha aisa hi hota hai..

I just checked now my limit was 261k now I see LE increase for 361k when I confirmed it now shows pre-approved instant cash unlock it . When I go back to home page still shows my previous limit 261k

I also got same message. I.2 lacs to just 11000. Raised the request to close the card through phone call. Did you get any confirmation call from them ?

Today 1 Jun 24, I received an SMS:

"Hi, Credit Limit on your RBL Bank Play Credit Card (XXXX28) has been revised to INR 10000.00 with effect from 31-05-2024. RBL Bank"

It is a PAID card with 86k limit previously. Absolutely not worth it. I barely used the card though.

I want to keep a card from RBL in my portfolio but at this stage have to be LTF, or else no thanks.

What should I negotiate for? Any tips are appreciated.

don't close the card directly instead raise a req for card closure and ask the retention team to upgrade it to LTF world safari or ICON cc if they deny then u May close it if u don't use this card..

They did the same to me... Reduced from 1.73L to 10k...
I eventually closed the card...

1. How to raise closure req, don't see any buttons in app for that

2. Considering my card is paid, and no txns, if they deny icon or world safari ltf, what about shoprite, should be easy right?
